My Journey

A peregrination through science, arts, and innovation

I have always been fascinated by how ideas are born, evolve, and take physical shape. This process of materialization, from concept to reality, is the very heart of my journey.

It all began with a child’s curiosity for the living world, for technology, and for the workings of the universe. This quest led me from hikes in the forest to self-taught explorations of arts and crafts, before guiding me to the research laboratory and, eventually, to entrepreneurship.

Through each stage, a common thread has remained: the desire to understand, to share—always considering the how, where, and for whom—and to build. To build projects and objects, but above all, to weave connections between different worlds.

A Thirst for Knowledge

My journey as an insatiably curious mind began by questioning the workings of life and its fundamental place in our existence. For me, biology has always been the cornerstone of our understanding of the world—an endless source of inspiration, tirelessly mimicked by human ingenuity to develop our tools.

After my scientific baccalaureate, my academic path continued with a Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Physiology at the University of Lille (Lille 1). I then joined the interdisciplinary Master’s program at the CRI (Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity, now the Learning Planet Institute) in Paris, which propelled me into the exploration of complexity. It was there I understood that the most compelling answers, often the most unexpected, lie at the crossroads: between biology and physics, science and art, theory and experimentation.

My research led me to explore fields as diverse as the physiology of taste, the culinary experience, and biomimicry, particularly through the lens of prosthetics that leverage interfaces between living systems and technology. My PhD on the physics of developmental biology and regeneration only strengthened this conviction, providing me with the rigor and patience of fundamental research.

The Art of Sharing Knowledge

A realization quickly emerged: knowledge is one of the few resources whose value multiplies when shared. This idea has become a pillar of my personal and professional philosophy and the driving force behind many of my projects.

This philosophy came to life through multiple experiences: an internship at Les Atomes Crochus for an exhibition blending science and humor; outreach workshops for children with Les Savanturiers; the co-creation of the Sci&Fi media outlet to experiment with new scientific narratives; and a rewarding experience teaching high school biology. My interest in knowledge transfer even led me to consider a career as a scientific illustrator, to make visually complex concepts accessible. I also explored the use of games as a modeling tool in biology. Each of these adventures taught me how to translate concepts, spark curiosity, and adapt my message to diverse audiences.

Weaving the Network and Strengthening the Fabric

Understanding and sharing are essential, but they were not enough. How could I move to action and make these connections tangible? This question guided me toward research valorization and innovation.

  • With the Houblons de France association, I discovered the reward of uniting an entire industry. This experience was a true catalyst for skill development: from industry strategy (connecting stakeholders, drafting documents for the National Assembly) and operational project management (securing funding, designing training programs) to historical research and heritage preservation (history of hop usage, ancient varieties).
  • As an independent Consultant, I guided project leaders through the maze of R&D, intellectual property, and financing, from initial project setup to the design of entire R&D units.
  • My role as a Partnership Manager at CY Cergy Paris Université was an opportunity to apply this approach within a dynamic university ecosystem. It was a chance to forge lasting collaborations between laboratories and companies, where every thread had to find its place to create a solid, innovative, and sustainable structure.

Always Learning, Always Exploring

This journey has equipped me with a 360-degree view of innovation. I am neither an isolated researcher nor a mere manager. I am a translator, a facilitator, an artisan of connections who thrives at the interface, helping projects come to life.

This approach is coupled with a constant commitment to learning. Through formal training (notably via Coursera) and self-directed exploration in fields as varied as crafts (leatherwork, sewing), languages (Japanese, Middle French), and design (typography, vector and 3D design), I have consolidated and diversified my skills. They range from project management to data analysis (MatLab, Power BI, Python), and include design thinking and the strategic applications of AI (especially generative AI). My goal is to maintain cutting-edge expertise while remaining open to the new methods that shape innovation.

Creativity as a Source

This eclectic approach is fueled by my personal passions. I have always been drawn to the dialogue between science and art, having even considered careers in design or ergonomics. Writing (winner of two short story competitions), music (composition, guitar), medieval fencing, and hiking are all vital fields of expression for me.

These interests, which now materialize in numerous musical and artistic projects, are inexhaustible sources of creativity. They inevitably enrich my approach to professional projects, constantly offering me new perspectives.
